Zoo Trip for Birthday

Last Monday Kennedy turned 3 !!!

Chris and I took her to the zoo for the afternoon. We had a blast and I believe we saw every inch of the zoo. 3 hours later I was exahasted! Needless to say Kennedy had a great time and we enjoyed our time with our sweet girl. We can not believe she is 3.

1st Dentist Trip

Yesterday Kennedy went for her 1st dentist appointment! She was a pro! Chris and I were so impressed with how well she did while she was there. She climbed right up in the seat and opened her mouth up wide. She sat still while they cleaned, flossed and examined her teeth. We were soooo proud! Mrs. Marla was so impressed she let Kennedy pick out 2 toys from the prize closet!

I know that it is a little thing, but I love the dentist and I want Kennedy to enjoy it too!

Birthday Parties for Friends!!!

A couple weeks ago, Kennedy had a birthday party filled weekend! 4 of her great friends celebrated their birthdays. My sweet friend Alison captured a few pictures of Kennedy during the weekend! She is growing up way too fast. When I see these pictures of her, I can't help but think what a big girl she has become! TOMORROW my little girl is turning 3!!! I can't believe how the time has flown by. I am so thankful for this precious gift of life!

Peace

Last week, when the weather turned nice Kennedy and I got the chance to go to the park. That day in bible study we had a lesson on Peace. I experienced a new understanding of peace as I watched Kennedy swing. As she got higher and higher, she leaned her head back and laughed and laughed. I realized then, that children display such an amazing peace about them. They do not worry about what tomorrow will bring, or what could happen, they just live in a state of peace that I think God desires for each of us. I only pray the the Holy Spirit continues to grow me in the area of peace. I thank my sweet Lord for the daily lessons he teaches me through my sweet angel.

Kennedy went to her second party at Star Gym a couple weeks ago! Needless to say she is ready to start! She wants to put on her leotard and get to gymnastics!! So this Spring we will be beginning gymnastics!! We can not wait. She is so brave and loves to work hard. She worked on cartwheels 10 times at the gym and then has been practicing at home. It is so cute. God gifted her with sooo many gifts, and it is fun to see her live into them!

Funny Things...By Kennedy Grace

Lately Kennedy has been talking to my belly a lot. It is soooooo cute.

She has been praying for him, singing to him and telling him stories. The other night she asked him what he was cooking in there! It was hilarious. We told her that her brother could not come yet because he was not done cooking in there! I love that kids take things excatly how you tell it to them!
